Co-produced with Jared McKetiak at 101.5 UMFM The Emerg­ing Schol­ar pod­cast is designed for grad­u­ate stu­dents, med­ical trainees, res­i­dents and fel­lows and grad­u­ate stu­dents to help them on their jour­ney towards their first sci­en­tif­ic project. This sea­son is designed in a way to sup­port you through­out the first year of your train­ing, as you start to devel­op fun­da­men­tal research skills : 
  • how to devel­op a great research question
  • where to find the best evi­dence to tai­lor in that question;
  • what do you do with data even before you start on a jour­ney with the help of your analyses;
  • how to build a frame­work for those analyses;
  • an intro­duc­tion to dif­fer­ent ways that you can answer your ques­tions through both quan­ti­ta­tive and qual­i­ta­tive studies;
  • and final­ly, we’re going to start forg­ing a path towards intro­duc­ing equi­ty, inclu­sion and diver­si­ty with­in your research project!
